We now have tungsten Dumbbells in 2 painted colours and silver nickel. There is a bulge at the centre of each side which can be painted to represent an eye e.g. painted black pupil on chartreuse or painted orange eye on black background. When tied on the top of the hook dumbbells keep the hook point up and so reduce the risk of snagging.
The small size are a good weight for trout lures, the medium could be useful when extra depth is needed in fast water. The large and XL are very heavy (see chart) and best suited to salt water or pike fly's.

Tungsten Teardrops
These are a good way to tie natural looking nymphs that still carry a lot of weight.
In 2 finishes, Gold and plain tungsten.
In 4 sizes (diameter)- 2.4mm , 2.7mm , 3.2mm and 3.6 mm

The photo below shows the teardrops on Varivas 2400v hooks, a useful reference for sizing. The long shank of this hook style compliments the shape of the teardrops.
