When ordering please ensure you specify :-

  1. Bead size ,*Notes on size :- 1.5mm are too small for most people !  They are actually about 1.8mm but if you haven't had these before they are probably smaller than you think and you probably want 2mm. Size is the diameter not the length. a )1.5mm beads are best suited to sz 18 and smaller nymphs.  4mm beads have quite a large bore so are best suited to normal/heavy wire hooks size 12 or larger - they may pass over the eye of fine wire hooks
  2. Coating - see above chart for availability of sizes in different finishes
  3. Number of packs of  each of  above
  4. Black paint or Black Nickel

These large size plain tungsten beads (4.6 mm and 5.5 mm) are super heavy, they are a bit more expensive due to the amount of tungsten needed to make them.

Multiple beads can be put on a single hook, it is possible to make a cased caddis pattern weighing over 7g (1/4 Oz) !
